Play-based, individualized tutoring sessions for students with complex support needs.

  • I focus on school-readiness and early learning skills best suited for students in Pre-K through 2nd grade.

  • Flexible options include at-home sessions, use of community spaces such as libraries, or virtual.

  • Sessions always incorporate:

    • the child’s strengths, interests, and tailored support strategies;

    • supplemental instruction and support for caregiver identified and/or IEP identified goals;

    • play-based and child-led strategies.

Individual sessions, packages, and subscriptions available.

Special Education Consultation

Caregiver support for those wanting to better understand their child’s IEP, navigate difficult conversations, and advocate for their child’s needs.

  • Support for caregivers navigating the educational environment, specifically as it relates to inclusion, students with disabilities, special education, and more.

    Caregiver-School communication and collaboration support focused on building positive relationships, trust, and working toward a shared vision.

  • Review of current student documentation and creation of an advocacy plan.

    Caregiver training, collaboration, and community building opportunities.

  • Trainings specific to Michigan’s Special Education laws and regulations, navigating the educational environment, and supporting your child’s strengths and support needs at home.

School-Based Capacity Building

School consultations and support for creating inclusive spaces for children with disabilities.

  • Schoolwide walkthroughs and observations with feedback and design of related strategic plan

    Review of current policies, systems, procedures

    Inclusive Education rubric completion and individualized resources to support

  • Providing specialized support for teachers working with students with complex support needs (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

    Leading Professional Learning Communities

    Special Education teachers and paraprofessionals coaching, training, mentoring

    Individualized creation and facilitation of Inclusive Education professional development trainings (virtual, hybrid, and in-person)

  • Review of current special education programs, paperwork, and services for equity and inclusion

    Oversee Special Education documentation and services

    Facilitate communication between families, staff, and students

  • Individualized data tracking systems for all stakeholders to increase efficiency and sustainability

    Creation of schoolwide, editable forms, surveys, and documents

    Differentiated and modified student assessments and materials aligned with school curriculum and student strengths and needs

  • Working with founding, or newly founded, schools to create their Student Support Services programs, focused on equity and inclusion
